Registered Clinical Social Worker
Registered Clinical Counsellor
I offer secure, online video counselling to individuals and couples of all genders and sexual orientations who want to improve their relationships, bravely explore issues that are getting in the way, and chart a new path.
Essentially, I work with people who want more from their lives. You don’t have to know how to get there, you just have to be willing to show up join me in the conversation.
We won’t just talk about your problems on repeat. My clinical training in Family Systems Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) has equipped me with the tools necessary to help you create lasting changes.
Common concerns that people come to work with me on include:
Impact of COVID-19
Stress, anxiety, burn-out
Reproductive concerns (infertility, pregnancy loss, abortion)
Grief and loss
To support you in your goals, I have a Master of Social Work from Dalhousie University, a Clinical Fellowship in Addictions Social Work at the BC Centre on Substance Use, and a post-graduate certificate in Palliative Care from Lakehead University.
Working as a clinical social worker in healthcare for the last decade I supported youth, adults, couples and families to cope with life’s biggest challenges: mental health and substance use concerns; family conflict; living with cancer; and dying with dignity.
I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker, a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and a Collaborative Divorce Coach and Child Specialist with Collaborative Divorce Vancouver.
